Students of the College of Business, Computing, and Government

Each of the four departments of the College of Business, Computing and Government provides a strong academic foundation for students. Each also emphasizes the eternal importance of integrity, seeking to fulfill President McKay’s charge to be men and women “who cannot be bought or sold . . . genuine gold.” Combined with strong theoretical learning, students develop practical competencies that prepare them for immediate employment, both domestically and internationally. To these are added substantial self-employment training, business plan competitions, and mentoring received from committed volunteers at the Center for International Entrepreneurship. As graduates they find opportunities in for-profit, non-profit, and governmental organizations. As technology continues to revolutionize the global economy, students pursue recognized professional and computer certifications that are in high demand. The aim of all programs is to prepare students to be leaders in their families, communities, and the Church.
